How the Points Flight
Concierge Works
If you want the simple version first, ask our AI chat before you read the full process.
Tell us where you want to go. The Flights Club searches the loyalty programs you already hold — up to 12 airline partners depending on whether you're flying on Qantas, Velocity, Amex Membership Rewards, or Pay.com.au PayRewards. Your points stay in your account until you authorise the booking.
The Flights Club Booking Fee Structure
Flat fee per seat. Same whether your Business Class seat would have cost $5,000 or $15,000 in cash. No commissions. No surprises.
China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand
UK, Europe, USA, UAE, Americas, Africa
Member discounts apply for additional bookings beyond included allocations: Explore members receive 10% off. Platinum and Black members receive 30% off. All fees are per seat, per booking direction. Airline taxes are paid separately and vary by program and routing.
If the airline later changes or cancels your flight, see our Changes & Cancellations policy — we'll help you find a substitute where we can.
From request to boarding pass
Six steps. No phone calls — async email coordination only. Just Business Class.
Our ethos is delivering value. You won't be charged if we don't find the right flights that meet your criteria.
You submit
Complete the online booking form with your travel preferences — destination, dates, how flexible you are, passengers — and your points balances across each program (Qantas, Velocity, KrisFlyer, Asia Miles, and any others).
You don't need to know which program is best — that's our job.
We search
We search the programs that match your points — not every program, the right ones based on what you actually hold. If you hold Amex or Pay.com.au PayRewards we unlock up to 12 airline transfer partners — see the full ratios below.
We look for the best combination of points cost, airline, routing and availability for your dates.
We keep searching — and advise you
Award seats come and go constantly, so we run fresh searches every one to two days and come back as new seats appear — with airline, routing, points required, airline taxes, and the booking fee for each option. First options on standard routes are typically within 2–5 business days.
Tell us no and we keep searching — your flexibility sometimes changes what we can find.
Confirm quickly — award seats can disappear within hours.
You confirm & transfer points
Once you pick an option, we'll tell you exactly how many points to transfer and from where (for example, Amex Membership Rewards). You make the transfer yourself — we never log into your card or bank account.
We don't ask you to move points until there's a seat to book.
We book your seat
Once the points land in your frequent flyer account, we book it directly in your account (the airline may send a one-time SMS code to approve the login) and pay the airline taxes on your behalf.
We confirm & invoice
You receive the confirmed itinerary, booking reference and airline PNR. We then send you an invoice to reimburse the airline taxes.
You're the account holder throughout — the airline treats the booking as if you'd made it directly.
What to expect
A few things worth knowing about how award seats behave — so there are no surprises.
Options around your dates
If we find a real seat slightly off your dates or via a different city, we'll show it — your flexibility sometimes changes what's possible. Tell us yes or no on each option; if it's a no, we keep searching.
Lock in, then improve
If a good seat is available and you've got the points, we may suggest securing it to lock in the trip, then keep hunting for something better — always booking the new seat before releasing the old one, so you're never left with nothing.
Ticket taxes vary
Airline taxes vary by airline and route, are paid separately to the airline, and are always shown before you commit.
Lead time matters
For international travel, 3–6 months ahead is ideal. The more runway you give us, the more we can find.
You must hold the points
We search and book using your existing balances — we don't buy, lend, or transfer points for you. Business and First Class only; no economy, premium economy, or cash-ticket upgrades.
No find, no fee
You're only charged when a seat is confirmed. No search fee, no consultation charge.
Your points decide the search universe
If you hold Qantas Points, we search Qantas and its Oneworld partners. If you hold Velocity, we search Velocity and its partners.
If you have Amex Membership Rewards or Pay.com.au PayRewards, you unlock multiple airline transfer partners. The table below shows transfer ratios for each.

What the Concierge is — and isn't
Business & First Class Only
The Points Flight Concierge books Business Class and First Class seats only. We do not book economy, premium economy, or upgrades on existing cash tickets.
Award Availability is Dynamic
Business Class award seats are limited and controlled by the airlines. The Flights Club cannot guarantee specific airlines, programs, or travel dates. We find the best available option — but availability depends on what the airlines release.
You Must Have the Points
The Flights Club searches and books using your existing points balance. We do not purchase, lend, or transfer points on your behalf. You need to have sufficient points in the relevant program before we can complete the booking.
Online Requests Only
All booking requests must be submitted via the online form. The Flights Club does not take phone enquiries for concierge bookings. This ensures every request is processed accurately and nothing is missed.
Taxes Paid Separately
Airline taxes and carrier surcharges are paid directly to the airline — they are separate from the The Flights Club booking fee. Tax amounts vary significantly by program and routing, and are shown clearly when we present your options.
No Find, No Fee
The Flights Club only charges the booking fee when a seat is confirmed. If we cannot find suitable availability within your dates and points balance, you pay nothing. There is no search fee or consultation charge.
