How The Flights Club
Membership Works

From your first Points Audit to your personalised Blueprint to flying Business Class on your business expenses — here is the complete membership journey.

From sign-up to Business Class

Every membership follows the same structured journey. Here is exactly what happens — and when.

1
You do this

Free Points Audit

Before you join, complete your free Points Audit. This takes around 10 minutes and maps every dollar your business spends — identifying which expenses are currently earning points, which are not, and what your total annual points potential looks like.

What you'll discover: Your current annual points earn rate, the gap between what you're earning and what you could earn, and an indicative Business Class seat count based on your spend profile.

Discovery Call & Tier Recommendation

A The Flights Club advisor reviews your Points Audit results and schedules a brief discovery call. They'll confirm which membership tier is the right fit for your business — Explore, Platinum, or Black — based on your annual spend, travel frequency, and goals.

Typical outcome: Explore suits businesses spending $200K–$800K/year. Platinum suits $800K–$3M. Black suits $3M+ who have co-founders or want to fly 6 to 10 seats per year.

Together

Onboarding & Points Blueprint Session

Once you join, your first session is your Points Blueprint — a structured 30 to 40-minute strategy session with your dedicated The Flights Club advisor. This is the foundation of your membership. Your advisor maps your exact spend profile and builds a personalised plan covering which cards to use, which programs to consolidate into, and how to structure your business payments to maximise points earn.

What you receive: Your tailored roadmap to Business Class. Most members discover they can earn 40–120% more points than they currently do, from the same spend.

Ongoing Strategy Sessions & Program Monitoring

Your membership includes regular strategy sessions throughout the year. Your advisor monitors program changes, transfer bonuses, and new earn opportunities — and alerts you when action is required. Points programs change frequently; The Flights Club ensures your strategy stays optimal.

Session frequency: Explore — 1 session/year. Platinum — One 1:1 tailored points strategy session per year.

Concierge Bookings — Included Seats

When you're ready to fly, your membership includes Business Class concierge bookings. Platinum members receive 4 return Business Class seats per year. Black members receive 10 seats. Simply tell your advisor where you want to go and when — The Flights Club handles the search, redemption, and booking across all partner programs.

Explore members: Concierge bookings are available at a 10% member discount on the standard per-seat fee. See the Concierge How It Works page for full details.

Fly Business Class — Repeat Every Year

You fly. Your business continues to earn points. Your advisor continues to optimise your strategy. The system compounds: the longer you're a member, the more efficient your points earn becomes, and the more Business Class travel you unlock from the same business spend.

Average member outcome: 2–6 Business Class return trips per year, with total flight value of $20,000–$80,000 — funded entirely by business expenses that were already being incurred.

What's included at each tier

Explore is a self-directed membership. Platinum and Black are advisory-led — a fundamentally different experience.

Business Class isn't a luxury.
It's a performance decision.

Research consistently shows that how you travel directly affects how you perform when you arrive. Here's what the science says.

🧠

Jet lag costs 3–5 days

Economy class sleep deprivation and cramped conditions impair cognitive function for up to 5 days post-flight. Business Class sleep quality is clinically comparable to a hotel bed.

💼

Arrive ready to perform

Business owners who fly Business Class report arriving ready to work vs. needing recovery time. For a $500K deal, the ROI on a $5K seat is obvious — when you're not paying $5K for it.

✈️

Travel joy is real

Anticipation of a great trip produces measurable dopamine increases — the same effect as a pay rise. Members report that knowing their next Business Class trip is booked changes how they feel about work today.

The Model

Why most business owners never fly Business Class on points

It's not a lack of points. It's a lack of a system.

🎯
The Problem
You have points
But no strategy for which ones to earn, when to transfer, or how to find seats.
⚙️
The System
TFC installs the system
Earn strategy, transfer timing, seat hunting, and booking — all done for you.
🛫
The Result
You fly Business Class
Consistently. On points. Without spending hours figuring it out yourself.

Membership FAQ

How quickly will I see results?
Most members see a measurable increase in monthly points earn within 30–60 days of implementing their Points Blueprint. The first Business Class booking typically happens within 6–12 months, depending on your starting points balance and annual spend.
Do I need to already have points to join?
No. Many members join with zero or very few points. The membership is designed to build your points earn from your existing business spend — you don't need a head start. That said, if you already have a significant points balance, your advisor will factor that into your Blueprint and you may be able to book your first flight sooner.
What if my business spend is seasonal or irregular?
That's completely normal. Your advisor will map your spend profile across the full year and structure your Blueprint to account for seasonal variation. The goal is to maximise earn across your total annual spend — not just your peak months.
Can I upgrade my tier during the year?
Yes. If your business grows or your travel needs change, you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time. The upgrade fee is calculated on a pro-rata basis for the remaining membership period.
What does The Flights Club charge for concierge bookings above my included allocation?
Platinum and Black members receive a 30% discount on the standard concierge fee for additional bookings beyond their included seats. The standard fee is $300/seat each-way for NZ/Fiji/Domestic, $650/seat each-way for Asia, and $950/seat each-way for Rest of World. See the Concierge How It Works page for full details.
